Privacy

Your personally identifiable information will be stored only for the purposes of direct communication between M Jones Furniture and Woodwork and you, and will not be used for marketing purposes. This data may be shared with third parties such as suppliers or subcontractors if it is necessary to do so in order to fulfill your order or request. This data will be held indefinitely. You have a right to see what personally identifiable information, if any, is held by us and to request that it is destroyed, requests of this nature should be made using the details above.

Shipping

I offer home delivery and, where appropriate, assembly of furniture. Every piece is different and any special delivery requirements - e.g., will it fit through the front door - are discussed at the design stage and fed into the final design and price. Assembly takes just a few minutes. For online purchases delivery is not included in the website price

As a guide, for single items (like a dining table):

  • Hampshire - £25
  • Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire, West Sussex, East Sussex - £50
  • London / within the M25 - £75
  • Further afield – please contact me and we’ll work something out!
     Delivery costs for smaller items by Royal Mail Tracked (48hr):
    • <2kg £8
    • <10kg £10.50

    Please note that your finished piece may differ from that shown on this website. Photographs in the shop will be of the actual piece for sale, unless stated in the listing. 

    Payment / Cancellation Policy

      For standard stock items and designs

      Full payment including delivery charge is required at time of ordering. I will supply you with an estimated completion and delivery time (usually 4 – 8 weeks) or you can always ask us beforehand. I'm really confident you will like my products but in line with EU policy, there is a 14 day 'cooling off' period after you receive your goods. 

      For custom designs

        We will chat back and forth, sharing ideas and sketches but at some point we need to finalise the plan and get the tools out. Once design and price have been agreed by both parties, I will issue you with an invoice. For items under £500, full payment including delivery charge will be required at this point. For items where price and delivery totals over £500 payment of a 50% deposit is required with the remainder due on completion. Following receipt of the deposit there is then a 14 day cooling off period during which your order can be cancelled for a 100% refund or changed if practical. After this 14 day post-payment date, no refund is possible.  

        When will I receive my order?

        For larger custom orders the standard lead time is 6-12 weeks.

        For smaller or standard items (but which still need to be made to order) the standard lead time is 4-8 weeks.

        Items in stock will be dispatched as soon as practicable and will typically arrive within 1-2 weeks.

        An order is considered to have been made when full payment (for orders under £500) or deposit payment (for orders over £500) has been received. Lead time begins from the date of receipt of payment.

            Corrections and errors

            Although we have made every effort to present accurate information, errors in text, images and descriptions may occur. Please tell me if you see any problems or typos.
